You're exclusively invited to explore 'Fancy that!' - my latest collection, available for just 72 hours... Greetings!I've been busy working on a new series (get a sneak peek below) for an upcoming exhibit - online with Artburst Studios. If you've been following me over recent years, you'll know that I've taken a deep dive into making art. My current exploration is painting the gorgeous Colorado Mountain Landscape, in oils based off of quick ink sketches I do in situ. I have an online art exhibit coming up--called Fancy That!-- in collaboration with Artburst Studios November 14-16. I wanted you to know about it ahead of time because it goes QUICK! It only lasts 3 days, and if you want to view or participate/purchase anything ahead of time, you'll want to register beforehand.
You can do this now by creating a free Artburst Collector Account. This will give you access to exclusive 24-hour early show previews (how fancy – you get to see the art early)! It has been so fun creating a new body of work for this exhibit - there is a sneak peek below of what I've been working on. Artist InterviewFor this exhibit, we are nineteen artists working together, and each of us were asked to describe our artistic process and inspiration. Watch my artist interview for this exhibit here. I hope you'll check out the online exhibit next week! It will be a 3-Day Intensive, with chat support and early bird bidding for anyone who registers for a free account. Fancy That!Online Group Exhibit November 14-16, 2024 Thanks for your support! 🥰 Kim Do follow me on these sites?

I am not inclined to get involved in new projects or start new routines. I'm focused on letting go of what's inessential. I just finished reading the book Essentialism, by Greg McKeown. I highly recommend it...
hi! In the post-Christmas week, it sometimes feels easy to get lost. It's the kind of week that invites reflection, and contemplation, and possibly judgement. Mind wanders to questions like: What just happened? Did I accomplish anything of meaning? Did I grow? Did I regress? How do I ditch what's no longer working, and find a way forward that feels right? If you are also asking these kinds of questions, consider joining the 5 Day End of Year Journaling Challenge. Sangre de Cristo #7, ink on...
